Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, John Pinaglabanan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richmond Finch!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch throws a leg kick but Pinaglabanan moved away.
Finch wants to slow Pinaglabanan down by chopping away at his legs.
Pinaglabanan slips a jab from Finch.
Pinaglabanan misses with a takedown
and Finch counters with a stiff right hand.
Finch slips under a jab.
A little jabbing left from Finch on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Finch misses with a leg kick.

Pinaglabanan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Finch!
Pinaglabanan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finch isn't going anywhere.
Finch is looking to regain half guard here but Pinaglabanan keeps moving and retains side control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finch, as that shot connected.

Pinaglabanan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Finch sprawls well initially but Pinaglabanan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Finch has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pinaglabanan is on him like a limpet, forcing Finch back against the cage.

Pinaglabanan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Finch after a bit of a struggle.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pinaglabanan is defended easily by Finch.

Richmond Finch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Pinaglabanan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Finch.
That kick from Pinaglabanan tenderised Finch's leg. Finch is trying to keep his angry face on.
Finch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Finch jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Finch is on top in guard.

Finch would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Finch is fighting to break Pinaglabanan's control of his arms but Pinaglabanan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
