Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Sideman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denny Sideman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Denny Sideman!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sideman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Sideman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sideman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Knight is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sideman defends well.

Sideman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Knight's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Denny Sideman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Knight takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Knight working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sideman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sideman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sideman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sideman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sideman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A jab from Sideman finds it's way through Knight's defenses.
Kenny Knight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sideman drives through and clinches with Knight against the cage.
Knight tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sideman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sideman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Knight ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Knight no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Denny Sideman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sideman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Denny Sideman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
