The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes moves away from the strike by Petrescu.
Petrescu lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Petrescu thuds a left hand into Reyes's body.
Petrescu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Reyes.
Sergiu Petrescu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrescu misses with a hook.
Petrescu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reyes was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Petrescu cracks Reyes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Petrescu blocks a head kick by Reyes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes lands a body shot.
Reyes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reyes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Petrescu throws out the jab.
Reyes swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Petrescu is looking to chop away at Reyes's legs.

Reyes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Petrescu.
Petrescu throws a body punch but Reyes moves out of range.
Reyes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A punch lands to the side of Reyes 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Reyes throws a lazy head kick
and Petrescu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Reyes checks a low kick from Petrescu.
A bone on bone clash there as Reyes blocks the leg kick.
Reyes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Petrescu throws out a powerful jab.
Petrescu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Petrescu looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Petrescu jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Reyes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Petrescu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Petrescu throws a hook to the side of Reyes's head but Reyes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Petrescu.
Reyes throws a body kick that misses.

and Reyes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Petrescu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrescu moves away.
Petrescu seems to have recovered his senses.
Reyes is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Reyes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Petrescu! Reyes dives in looking to finish! Petrescu is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
