Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michel Therrien!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Therrien closes this distance looking for a takedown but Havret circles away.
Havret throws the left hand but Therrien avoids the punch easily.
Havret lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've been told by Havret's head coaches at Uncle Toths Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Havret lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Havret takes a swing at Therrien's ribcage but misses.
Havret goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Havret misses with an uppercut
and Havret takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Havret moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Havret looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Therrien dives in and grabs Havret's left leg, looking for a takedown. Havret pushes down on Therrien's head and hops out.
Havret lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Havret cracks a nice hook into Therrien's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Havret tries to land a leg kick but Therrien saw it coming and moves away.
Havret looks for the body kick but Therrien saw that one coming.

Therrien is trying hard to land a takedown here. Havret sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Norman Havret has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michel Therrien.

Therrien goes for a double leg but Havret avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Havret continues to drive forward.
Havret tries to land a front kick but Therrien steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
And Therrien tries to counter it with a takedown but Havret pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Havret throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Havret misses with an attempted mid kick.
Havret uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Therrien has time to react.
A decent looking cross lands there for Havret.
Havret feints and then cracks Therrien's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Therrien down.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Havret changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Therrien shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Havret defends it nicely.
Therrien looks winded!

Havret feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Therrien sprawling to the canvas! Therrien rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Havret finish him?!

Therrien is rocked!
Therrien walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Havret swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
