Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kamenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamenov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Linkin Park - Numb. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Major.

It looks like Grisha Kamenov has been cut.
Kamenov looks to land a body kick but Major moved away.

Kamenov tries to sprawl but Major drives through with a takedown into half guard.

My spies in Death Valley Training Facility inform me that Major has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Kamenov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Major is working away from the top position though.
Major wants to stand up but Kamenov has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Major wants to take a breather but Kamenov is having none of it.

Kamenov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Major gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Major is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Major not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kamenov has a closed guard, preventing Major from standing up.

Kamenov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Major doesn't defend quickly enough and Kamenov has managed to lock this one up! Can Major escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kamenov on a fantastic submission victory.
