The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lusar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lusar lands in his opponent's guard.
Lusar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Beasley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Beasley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lusar controls the pace.
Beasley can't keep his opponent in guard - Lusar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lusar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lusar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Beasley is looking for a sweep. Lusar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lusar in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Beasley tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lusar!
