Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metsast throws a leg kick but DeLuise checks it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Metsast, right into the meat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts DeLuise, as that shot connected.
DeLuise's corner calls for a 1-2. DeLuise obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Metsast has a takedown stuffed.
Nice straight punches there by DeLuise. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of DeLuise.

Metsast ducks right into an uppercut from DeLuise.
DeLuise throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Metsast tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DeLuise was well out of range. Poor timing from Metsast.
Good leg kick by Metsast there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Metsast comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
DeLuise might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
DeLuise uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Metsast.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Metsast closes the distance and clinches up with DeLuise, looking for a takedown. Metsast pushes DeLuise against the cage but DeLuise circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little jabbing left from DeLuise on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mees Metsast. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Metsast throws an overhand right that lands on DeLuise's shoulder, as DeLuise tries to avoid the shot.

and DeLuise counters with a stiff right hand.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. DeLuise engages and cracks Metsast with a massive lead left hook - Metsast tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! DeLuise is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
