Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salsa throws a head kick but Maafi moves out of range.

Salsa feints and as Maafi raises his hands in defense, Salsa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Maafi has his feet on Salsa's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Salsa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Maafi moves in looking to clinch but Salsa pushes him off.

Salsa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Maafi looks like he's trying to stand up.
