PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pan Romek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Jelcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jelcic has chosen Lijepa li si as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelcic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Romek digs a good body shot into Jelcic's ribs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Romek is pressed up against the cage. Jelcic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Romek down to the mat. Romek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jelcic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Romek sprawls well. Romek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jelcic gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Romek wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Romek enables Jelcic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Romek manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Romek tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jelcic cranks the arm and Romek screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Romek, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
