The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston misses with a takedown attempt
and Salvador counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice uppercut there from Salvador.
Salvador fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kingston on the side of the head.
Kingston shoots for a takedown but Salvador saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kingston has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kingston there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Salvador cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Salvador lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Kingston tries to score with some ground and pound. Salvador controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Salvador really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Salvador can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kingston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvador avoids it really well and circles away.
Salvador appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Emanuel Salvador seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Salvador lands a really nice looking cross but Kingston seems unphased.

Salvador connects with a right hand. Kingston shakes it off.
Kingston on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Salvador throws a hook to the side of Kingston's head but Kingston sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Salvador cracks Kingston with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kingston looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Salvador finish him?
Oh Kingston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingston is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Salvador just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Kingston has gone limp and this one is over!
