Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Ronald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Resetivus Morkevicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morkevicius is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Don't Trust Me" by 3 Oh! 3. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronald takes a swing at Morkevicius's ribcage but misses.
Morkevicius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ronald rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morkevicius moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ronald swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ronald throws a series of punches but Morkevicius avoids them all with ease.
Morkevicius tries to bum rush Ronald with a series of wild strikes but Ronald uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ronald throws the left hand but Morkevicius avoids the punch easily.

Ronald has taken the fight to the clinch.
Morkevicius can't get the takedown.

Ronald is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ronald knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morkevicius on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ronald throws a quick inside leg kick.

Ronald cracks Morkevicius with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Ronald throws a low kick but it's checked well by Morkevicius.
Ronald connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ronald doesn't manage to clinch there - Morkevicius circles away.

and Morkevicius counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ronald!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ronald is looking to improve his position but Morkevicius isn't that keen on the idea.
Ronald wants to control but Morkevicius is having none of it.

Ronald throws a jab when Morkevicius was well out of range.

Ronald throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morkevicius struggles to land a body shot inside as Ronald controls his hands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brad Ronald will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Morkevicius shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Morkevicius working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Morkevicius swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ronald is now in Morkevicius's guard. A big mistake from Morkevicius there, giving up the dominant position!
Ronald wants to stand but Morkevicius has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Morkevicius wants to sweep but no luck.
Ronald's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Morkevicius is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ronald throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Morkevicius's body to avoid the submission. Morkevicius has instead reached around Ronald's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Morkevicius arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
