Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmie Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rock Gracie !
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but Connor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Connor prevents Gracie from improving his position.
Connor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Connor is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie controlling the position for now.
Connor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Connor.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie .
Connor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie pulls Connor in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Connor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Connor from controlling successfully.
Gracie seems keen to control Connor's posture.
Connor trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Connor won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Connor is fighting to break Gracie 's control of his arms but Gracie is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Connor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Connor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Connor's back!
Connor has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Gracie .
Gracie throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Gracie missing with strikes.
Gracie is cranking Connor's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Connor! He's tightened the choke and Connor is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rock Gracie !
In defeat, Jimmie Connor stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'LL GET BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND SEE WHAT WENT WRONG , I WILL BE BACK '.
