And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paulo Dos Anjos!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Dos Anjos or perhaps it was just good defense by Valasquez which made him look bad.

and Dos Anjos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Valasquez's guard now.
Valasquez is looking to sweep but instead, Dos Anjos has passed into half guard.
Valasquez wants to improve his position but Dos Anjos is controlling well.
Dos Anjos works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Valasquez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
