The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutolo takes one to the side of the head.
Samus jabs Cutolo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Samus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cutolo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jab by Samus.
Samus sizes up Cutolo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Samus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A countering left hand to the body from Samus misses.
Samus lands with a shot to the body.
Samus lands a jab to the head.
Samus scores with a hook.
Lotos Samus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Samus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Oh Cutolo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been hearing reports that Cutolo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Samus engages and cracks Cutolo with a massive lead left hook - Cutolo tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Samus is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
