Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shin Ichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Testicular Cancer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shin Ichi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Testicular Cancer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cancer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ichi tries to clinch there but Cancer circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ichi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ichi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cancer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cancer misses with a looping right.
Cancer connects with a nice looking jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cancer. Ichi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cancer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ichi on the side of the head.
Ichi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cancer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ichi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cancer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ichi is in Cancer's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ichi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ichi stands and throws Cancer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ichi tries for a kimura but Cancer is defending well.
Cancer is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ichi is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cancer will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee asks Ichi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ichi prefers to stall for the moment though.
Cancer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ichi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cancer is trying to improve his position.

Ichi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cancer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ichi is staying tight to Cancer's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Ichi is trying to get an arm triangle but Cancer is defending well.
Ichi controls the position.
Ichi is working to tighten his grip on Cancer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cancer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ichi is really squeezing tight and eventually Cancer passes out! Ichi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
