The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stark on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That kick from Stark tenderised McGuire's leg. McGuire is trying to keep his angry face on.
Stark tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McGuire is able to avoid easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stark tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGuire wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Stark makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Stark appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
McGuire lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

No joy there for Stark, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stark lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily.
