Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xavior Reo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone has chosen Chill Bill as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xavior Reo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Robert Stone!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Reo if he has to take too many more of those.
Reo swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Stone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reo slips a jab from Stone.
Stone is looking to land body kicks.
Stone thuds his shin into the meat of Reo's side.
Good leg kick by Stone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Reo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Reo lands a head shot.


It looks like Robert Stone has been cut.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stone. Reo shrugs it off though.
A punch combination from Reo misses.
Stone thuds his shin into the meat of Reo's side.
Reo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stone swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Reo looks for the body kick but Stone saw that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reo throws a hook but Stone avoids it easily.
Reo's corner calls for a 1-2. Reo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Reo's calf.

Reo is looking to clinch.

Reo lands a big head kick that sends Stone tumbling to the mat! Reo takes a step backwards and waves Stone back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Stone is rocked!
Nice defenses there by Stone.
Stone slips under a jab.
Stone connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Reo's hands.
Stone fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Reo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Reo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Stone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reo throws out the jab.
Stone has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Stone throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Stone throws a low kick but Reo moves out of range easily.

Stone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reo.
Reo swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Stone slips a jab and a cross from Reo.
The fighters circle momentarily. Reo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Reo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone lands an elbow inside that Reo shrugs off.

Reo tries to break free but Stone pushes him back against the cage.

Stone ducks under a wild hook from Reo.
Stone throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Stone counters with an inside leg kick.

Stone tries a quick counter leg kick but Reo is wise to it.
Stone wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stone lets loose with a powerful body kick. Reo will feel that in the morning.
Reo throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stone connects with an inside leg kick.
Reo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Reo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stone's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone lands with a few short shots to the body.

Reo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stone wants to improve his position but Reo is controlling well.

Reo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Stone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Reo throws a looping overhand right but Stone ducks down to avoid it.
Reo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stone.

Stone moves away from the strike by Reo.
Stone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reo throws a head kick that misses.
Stone only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Reo misses with a two punch combination.
Reo is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Reo throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.

Stone instigates a clinch.
Reo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stone to keep the fight standing.

Reo jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stone appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Reo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Reo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reo is looking to clinch but Stone is avoiding it.
Reo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stone. Stone obviously looking to wear him down.
Stone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sloppy strikes from Reo. Those never looked like landing.
Reo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stone counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Reo 's knee.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Stone.
Stone walks forward, straight into a front kick from Reo.
A left and a right from Reo both land. Nice combination.
Reo throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Reo throws a sloppy head kick and Stone moves out of range easily.

Robert Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stone has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Robert Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That kick from Stone tenderised Reo's leg. Reo is trying to keep his angry face on.

I've got Stone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
