The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Young throws the left hand but Boschman avoids the punch easily.

Boschman forces Young back against the ropes and clinches.
I was talking to Young's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Boschman misses with an elbow strike.
Boschman told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Young avoids the elbow strike from Boschman, against the ropes.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Boschman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Young doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Young lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Boschman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Young manages to avoid it.
Young lands a nice hook to Boschman's body. Boschman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Young throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boschman looks to throw the jab but Young is out of range.
Young circles away from the clinch attempt.

Young smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Boschman misses with an uppercut.
Young is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Boschman swings widly with a right hand
and Young cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Young explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Young will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Young is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Ernst Young will probably get the nod.
