Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stryker Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stryker Payne!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Payne swings widly with a right hand
and Frost counters with a slapping leg kick.
Frost cracks the inside of Payne's front leg.

Payne missing with a left hand there. Frost was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Frost throws a leg kick but Payne sees it coming and moves out of range.

Frost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Frost fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Payne.
Frost's jab looks to have found its range, popping Payne under the eye.
Payne might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Payne's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Frost misses with a low kick as Payne jumps back.

Payne closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Frost throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Frost lands a big head kick that sends Payne tumbling to the mat! Frost takes a step backwards and waves Payne back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Payne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frost manages to avoid it.
Frost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Payne.
Frost half committed to a counter leg kick.
Payne avoids the head kick by Frost.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Frost, as that shot connected.
