Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Scouten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scouten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Killing in the name of. Hughes has chosen Hard To See as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tommy Hughes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scouten scores with a takedown into Hughes's guard.
Scouten trying to control but Hughes is working from the bottom.
Scouten prevents Hughes from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scouten forces his way into half guard.
Hughes is staying active underneath Scouten, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hughes manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Hughes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Scouten uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hughes.
Scouten tries to move into range but Hughes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Greg Scouten has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hughes lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Scouten is looking to close the distance but Hughes sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Scouten crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Scouten is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
