Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Hector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Hieron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hieron drops Hector with a beautiful combination! Hector stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hieron is looking for the KO!

Hector gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hieron connects with a nice short shot to Hector's temple.

Hector postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hieron is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hector, into his guard.

Hieron is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hieron gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hieron gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hieron apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hieron changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hector looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
