The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos throws a hook but Kruger avoids it easily.
Kruger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vos moves away.
Vos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kruger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vos ducks under a wild hook from Kruger.
Kruger cracks Vos with a good jab.
Vos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Vos counters with a three punch combo that has Kruger backing up. Kruger nods at Vos to acknowledge the strikes.
Kruger throws a front kick that sends Vos stumbling back into the cage.

Kruger throws an overhand right that lands on Vos's shoulder, as Vos tries to avoid the shot.
Kruger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Vos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kruger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vos was well out of range. Poor timing from Kruger.
Vos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kruger's head backwards.
Kruger throws a sloppy head kick and Vos moves out of range easily.
Kruger throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kruger misses with a wild body shot.
Good work by Vos as he checks the leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kruger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kruger swings for the body but Vos moves out of range.
Kruger walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vos checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Despite the aggression on Vos's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Vos cracks Kruger with an open hand slap.

and Vos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vos throws a lazy right hand but Kruger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kruger clobbers Vos with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kruger takes one to the side of the head.
Kruger tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Vos is able to avoid easily.
Vos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kruger on the side of the head.
Kruger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Oh Kruger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kruger throws a low kick but Vos moves out of range easily.
Kruger seems to have got his legs back now.
Vos throws a hook but Kruger blocks it.
Vos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Vos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kruger. Vos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kruger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vos.
Kruger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kruger throws a leg kick but Vos moved away.
Kruger lands a lovely overhand right.
Paul Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vos.
Vos connects with the punch.

Vos is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kruger had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
