Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Leak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Talbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talbert stuffs the takedown attempt from Leak. Leak gets slowly back to his feet.
A combination from Leak does no damage.
Leak misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Talbert.
Talbert dodges the punch combination from Leak.
Leak tries to bum rush Talbert with a series of wild strikes but Talbert uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Talbert gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Talbert misses with an uppercut. Leak saw that one coming.
Leak went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Talbert misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Leak. Talbert shrugs it off though.
Leak tries to clinch but Talbert moves out of range.
It seemed like Talbert was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Leak misses with a takedown attempt - Talbert sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Leak fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Talbert.
Leak needs to keep his hands up - Talbert had a free shot at his head there.

Leak dives in and grabs Talbert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Talbert pushes down on Leak's head and hops out.

Leak throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Talbert on the side of the head.

Talbert has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Talbert takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leak throws a jab but it's blocked by Talbert.
Good leg kick by Leak there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Talbert breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leak throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It seemed like Talbert was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Leak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Talbert.
Leak seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Leak defending well as Talbert loads up on a big left hand.
Leak moves into range and connects with a jab.
Leak looks to land a combination but Talbert avoids it well.

Leak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Talbert swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Talbert connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Leak momentarily.

enabling Talbert to counter with a crisp jab.
Leak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Talbert throws the left hand but Leak avoids the punch easily.

Talbert cracks Leak with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Leak looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Talbert finish him?

Leak is rocked!

Talbert is stalking Leak. Leak circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Talbert, and it's lights out! Leak really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
