The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ritter checks a low kick from Boson.
Boson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

And Ritter tries to counter it with a takedown but Boson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ritter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boson throws out the jab.
Boson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

It looks like Sylvester Ritter has been cut.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ritter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ritter lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Boson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Ritter jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

An out of breath Sylvester Ritter thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Higgs Boson had this to say: 'Thank you to all the fans here tonight, I love you all!'.
