Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yasuhiro Akagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Denke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Akagi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nash the Slash - American Band. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akagi throws a hook to the side of Denke's head but Denke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Akagi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Akagi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Akagi throws a leg kick
and Denke counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Denke scores with a nice head shot.
Akagi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It seemed like Denke was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Akagi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Akagi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Denke drops Akagi with a beautiful combination! Akagi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Denke is looking for the KO!

Akagi is rocked!

It looks like Yasuhiro Akagi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Akagi throws a sloppy head kick
and Denke counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

A relieved looking Karl Denke thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
