Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demian Baines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marv Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marv Ellis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baines misses with a combination
and Ellis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Baines misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ellis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baines was well out of range. Poor timing from Ellis.
Ellis works Baines's body with a nice hook.
Baines dodges the punch combination from Ellis.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice body punch from Ellis.
Ellis lands with a shot to the body.
Baines will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ellis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baines's hands.
Ellis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ellis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Baines is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ellis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ellis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Demian Baines has been cut.
Ellis digs a good hook to Baines's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ellis dances in with a quick combination. Baines is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ellis snaps Baines's head back. Baines stumbles backwards against the cage. Ellis steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Baines's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Baines just didn't come prepared.
