Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramiro Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Molavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Molavi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ramiro Gamble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Molavi!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Molavi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gamble seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Gamble trying to keep a closed guard but Molavi is proving a slippery customer.
Gamble has a closed guard, preventing Molavi from standing up.
Molavi wants to control from the top but Gamble keeps moving.
Gamble knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Molavi on the ground.
Molavi wants to stand but Gamble has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Molavi advances position into side control!
Molavi throws a strike aimed at the side of Gamble's head but Gamble avoids it well.

It looks like Ramiro Gamble has been cut.
Molavi tries to stand but Gamble is controlling his head.
Gamble wants to control but Molavi postures up.
Molavi just content to control the position.
Gamble tries to improve position but can't.
Molavi controls the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Molavi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gamble struggling a bit here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Molavi is working to tighten his grip on Gamble's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gamble has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Molavi is really squeezing tight and eventually Gamble passes out! Molavi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Michael Molavi!
