Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shiny Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts misses with a head kick.
Aoki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Aoki misses with a hook

and Roberts counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Aoki manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Roberts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Roberts trying to control the position from guard on top but Aoki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aoki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Aoki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aoki tries to get out of the position.

Roberts is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aoki pulls his head out easily.
Roberts is looking for a sweep. Aoki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Aoki seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Roberts wants to improve his position but Aoki is controlling well.
Aoki perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Roberts wants to control but Aoki is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Roberts throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Roberts backs away, Aoki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Roberts avoids a kick to the body.
Aoki lands a jab to the nose.
Aoki misses with a hook. Roberts ducked under it nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Aoki.
Aoki goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Donk. Aoki catches Roberts right on the button with a cross.
Aoki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Roberts doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Roberts throws a sloppy head kick
and Aoki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Roberts thinking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A little feinted left hand from Aoki on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Aoki fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

It looks like Max Roberts has been cut.

and Aoki counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Aoki lands a big uppercut and Roberts crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Roberts looks OK. Aoki waves Roberts back to his feet!

and Aoki rattles Roberts with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Roberts tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Aoki dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Roberts stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Shiny Aoki!

A relieved looking Shiny Aoki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Max Roberts stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm a much better fighter than what you seen here, TRUST ME, ill be better next time.'.
