Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenith Jenova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenova throws a poor cross that misses
and Ferreira makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jenova throws the left hand but Ferreira avoids the punch easily.
Jenova lands with a good body shot.
A head kick misses from Jenova.
Jenova lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ferreira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jenova.
Jenova thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jenova works the jab nicely.
Ferreira scores with a hook to the body. Jenova takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jenova lands with a thumping leg kick.

Jenova fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferreira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A head kick from Jenova lands but Ferreira takes it in his stride.

Jenova shoots in and bounces Ferreira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jenova lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ferreira told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Ferreira has momentary wrist control but Jenova slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like Carlos Ferreira has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenova is stalling in the full guard.

Jenova arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Ferreira's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
