Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chew Kok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Micheal jackson bad. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chew Kok!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kok just misses with a punch to the body.
Kok with a jab.
Kok avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kok stuffs the takedown.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kok looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kok takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.
James Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Kok finds it's way through Brown's defenses.
Brown scores with a one two! Kok had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kok slips a straight right by Brown.
We've been informed that Kok has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Brown moves out of range as Kok strikes.
Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kok throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown throws a nice inside leg kick.
A lazy left from Brown finds it's target.
Kok tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kok throws a push kick but Brown slaps the foot to one side.
Kok scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kok drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nice uppercut there from Kok.
Brown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kok misses with a wild body shot.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kok looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kok unleashes a big counter combination but Brown bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kok misses with a straight left.
Kok misses with an uppercut.
A counter left hand to the body from Brown misses its target.
Kok swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Kok.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kok feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brown's calf.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kok.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kok paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kok but Kok pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd cheers as Kok lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though.
Chew Kok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brown swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kok counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kok tests Brown's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kok lands a front kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kok, as that shot connected.
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Kok.
Kok checks a leg kick.
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Kok lands a jab to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


Brown is rocked!
Kok is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Brown flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Brown is out cold! Kok holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chew Kok!
Chew Kok decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
