The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Paterson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dickinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dickinson ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dickinson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dickinson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Paterson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dickinson has tightened it up now! Paterson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
