WeBL is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blood. Mr WeBL will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WeBL swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Vakarchuk counters by clinching up.
Vakarchuk blocks an uppercut.
Vakarchuk avoids the elbow strike from WeBL, against the cage.
WeBL has a couple of punches blocked by Vakarchuk.
WeBL misses with an elbow over the top.
WeBL lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Vakarchuk tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
WeBL swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Vakarchuk turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vakarchuk manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vakarchuk is looking to take a break and control but WeBL is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
WeBL is trying to get back to half guard.

Vakarchuk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but WeBL is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Vakarchuk lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
WeBL is working to avoid the ground and pound but Vakarchuk connects with a decent elbow.
Vakarchuk is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt WeBL will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Vakarchuk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vakarchuk is working to tighten his grip on WeBL's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. WeBL has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vakarchuk is really squeezing tight and eventually WeBL passes out! Vakarchuk breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
