The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barca throws a big shot that misses.
Hallick lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A head kick by Barca misses
and Hallick connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barca blocks a head kick by Hallick.
Barca throws a head kick but Hallick moves out of range.
Hallick misses with a wild combination.
Hallick takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Barca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hallick.
Barca tries a head kick but it misses.
Hallick appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Hallick connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Hannibal Barca has been cut.
We've been told by Hallick's head coaches at Forcefield Ludas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hallick moves out of range as Barca strikes.
Hallick missing with a left hand there. Barca was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Barca lands a jab to the nose.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hallick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barca moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hallick bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Barca rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hallick counters with a crisp one two that drops Barca! Hallick thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Barca to his feet! Barca is in big trouble!

Barca is rocked!
Hallick avoids the head kick by Barca.
Hallick quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Barca is still on wobbly legs! Can Hallick finish him?

Barca misses with a looping left.
Hallick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Barca throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Barca throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hallick counters with a low kick, right behind Barca 's knee.
Barca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barca seems to have recovered his senses.
Barca throws a sloppy body shot
and Hallick counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Barca looks winded!
Barca takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Barca misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hallick lands with a thumping leg kick.
Barca throws a sloppy head kick and Hallick moves out of range easily.
Hallick was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Hallick sends Barca crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hallick is motioning to the referee to let Barca up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hallick throws a jab but it's blocked by Barca.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barca has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hallick Throws a clean left jab. Hallick Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Barca's chin! Barca crumbles to the ground and Hallick follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Hallick!

After winning the bout, Al Hallick thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
