The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bix misses with a wild body shot.
Roode clinches.
Bix lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Roode tries to circle away but Bix has him pinned against the cage.
Bix lands a body shot.
Bix lands a nice shot to the body.
Bix prevents the takedown attempt.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bix creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Roode lands an elbow inside that Bix shrugs off.
Bix stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Roode is breathing heavily.
Bix scores with an uppercut up the middle.
It looks like Dominic Roode has been cut.
Bix lands a nice uppercut.
Bix working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bix drops Roode onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Roode is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Roode is rocked!
Bix pushes Roode against the cage and as Roode bounces back, Bix cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Bix follows up with more strikes but Roode was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). WE Bix!
