Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Voronov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley comes to the cage accompanied by dont worry. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Marley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nikolay Voronov!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voronov tries to clinch there but Marley circles away.
Voronov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Voronov is looking to clinch.

Marley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Marley lands a knee to the head.
Marley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Voronov can't get the takedown.
Marley with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Voronov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marley walks away with a smile on his face. Voronov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Voronov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marley as he avoids it easily.
Bob Marley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolay Voronov.
Voronov closes the distance and clinches up with Marley, looking for a takedown. Voronov pushes Marley against the cage but Marley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marley has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Voronov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Voronov holds on and takes a little breather.
Marley stands and throws Voronov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Voronov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Voronov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marley is working away from the top position though.

Marley is working for a submission of some sort.
Voronov tries to kick Marley off but Marley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Voronov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Voronov slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Voronov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Marley has gone for a leg lock! Voronov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Marley's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Voronov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Marley wants to stand up but Voronov is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Voronov tries to free his leg and advance position but Marley is retaining full guard.
Voronov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Marley manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Voronov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Voronov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Voronov swings around for an armbar but Marley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Voronov's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Marley stands up from Voronov's guard - Marley perhaps looking for a knockout.

Voronov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Voronov tries to score a body lock takedown but Marley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Voronov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marley fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Marley counters with a big head kick but Voronov shrugs it off.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Voronov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Marley looking to pass the guard.
Marley tries to stand but Voronov is controlling from the bottom.
Voronov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marley is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Voronov pulls his head out easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Voronov in particular looking to stall.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Marley will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Voronov rushes Marley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Marley postures up in Voronov's guard and throws a big left but Voronov blocks it.
Marley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Voronov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marley stands and steps away. Voronov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Marley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Voronov's guard now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Voronov wants to sweep but no luck.

Marley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Voronov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marley, into his guard.

Marley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marley is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marley is looking to advance position but Voronov has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
