Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gizmo Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danielos Pawiloks!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Williams is defended easily by Pawiloks.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pawiloks sprawls well. Pawiloks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.

Williams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pawiloks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Williams is staying tight to Pawiloks's torso, preventing him from escaping.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams wants to control but Pawiloks is keeping him busy.
Williams taking a break here but Pawiloks is having none of it and regains half guard.

Pawiloks looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Williams prevents Pawiloks from standing back up.
Pawiloks is trying to control but can't.

Williams is looking to advance position but Pawiloks won't allow it.
Williams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Williams is trying to control the action in half guard but Pawiloks is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pawiloks is looking to escape.
Pawiloks is trying to control but can't.
Williams performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pawiloks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Williams's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pawiloks is looking to stand up but Williams won't let him.

Pawiloks scoring with some ground and pound.
Pawiloks tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Williams holds on and takes a little breather.
Pawiloks wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pawiloks landing some decent shots from guard.
Pawiloks working some strikes from top position.
Williams is trying to control the position but Pawiloks postures up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pawiloks is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.

Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pawiloks on the ground.
Williams trying to control but Pawiloks is working from the bottom.
Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pawiloks tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pawiloks is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Danielos Pawiloks will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Pawiloks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Pawiloks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Williams wants to get back to his feet.
Williams wants to improve his position but Pawiloks is controlling well.
Williams trying to control from the bottom.
Williams is staying active underneath Pawiloks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pawiloks scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Pawiloks wants to stand up but Williams is controlling the position.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.

Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pawiloks is working away from the top position though.

Williams looking for submissions off his back.
Pawiloks working over Williams with some ground and pound. Williams looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Williams missing with punches from the bottom.
Pawiloks passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Williams!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Pawiloks looking for a guillotine from mount but Williams is having none of it.
Williams tries to reverse the position but Pawiloks maintains control.
A nice elbow there by Pawiloks.
Pawiloks is looking to stand but Williams has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Williams takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pawiloks has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pawiloks wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.
Williams looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Pawiloks is hanging on to Williams's back as he tries to escape.

Pawiloks has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Williams! Can he survive? No! He's out! Pawiloks gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Danielos Pawiloks!
