The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinakamalupet moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pinakamalupet connects with a jab.
Pinakamalupet rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pinakamalupet swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Silva.
Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pinakamalupet to score with a decent uppercut.
Pinakamalupet scores with the left hand. Silva knows he should have avoided that one.
Silva takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva throws a wild hook but Pinakamalupet just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Silva gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Pinakamalupet raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
