The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Permitis lands with a nice combination. Jagerkokov backs away looking to recover.
Emil Jagerkokov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Permitis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jagerkokov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Permitis is in Jagerkokov's guard.
Permitis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Permitis stops Jagerkokov from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jagerkokov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Permitis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Permitis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jagerkokov wants to stand up but Permitis is controlling him.

Permitis has gone for a leg lock! Jagerkokov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Permitis's guard.

Jagerkokov wants to control from the top but Permitis keeps moving.
Jagerkokov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Permitis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jagerkokov is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Permitis still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Permitis has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Jagerkokov wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Permitis seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Jagerkokov is tapping! Wow, great finish!
