Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigor Mortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mortiz has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rigor Mortiz looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Dover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rigor Mortiz!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortiz moves out of range of the body kick from Dover.
Mortiz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

That has opened up Rigor Mortiz's cut even more.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Mortiz shoots in and bounces Dover off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dover utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dover wants to get back to his feet but Mortiz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mortiz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dover throws a sloppy head kick and Mortiz moves out of range easily.

The cut above Rigor Mortiz's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Dover throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mortiz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mortiz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mortiz on the ground.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dover's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Mortiz is striking off his back. Dover thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mortiz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Dover wants to get back to his feet.
Mortiz is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dover jumps into side control!

Dover decides to take the fight back to the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dover throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ben Dover dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rigor Mortiz's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dover cracks Mortiz with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Dover immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mortiz is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Dover!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Dover!
