Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramiro Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Mikel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamble moves out of range of the body kick from Mikel.

Mikel seems to be working for a kimura but Gamble defends the submission attempt.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mikel stands up and beckons Gamble to join him on the feet.

Mikel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gamble's guard.

Mikel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mikel is fighting to break Gamble's control of his arms but Gamble is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gamble looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mikel puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mikel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gamble, up you get!

Gamble tries to keep at a distance but Mikel has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gamble drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mikel pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gamble kicks Mikel off and gets back to his feet.

Mikel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gamble enables Mikel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gamble manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gamble pushes Mikel off and scrambles back to his feet.

Mikel closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gamble quickly recovers to half guard.
Gamble is positioning himself well to prevent Mikel advancing to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Mikel stalks Gamble and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gamble's face. Gamble staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Ramiro Gamble has been cut.

Mikel has taken the fight to the clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mikel. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Gamble is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mikel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Mikel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
