Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beaine Segal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Pokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pokey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Keep My Name Out Yo Mouth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Segal's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pokey under the eye.
Segal misses with a straight left.
Pokey scores with a jab to the head.
A lazy left from Pokey finds it's target.
Pokey throws a hook but Segal blocks it.
Segal takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Segal looks to land a right hand but Pokey moved out of range.

Pokey throws a body shot but no joy.
Segal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pokey takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pokey, as that shot connected.
A clash of legs there as Segal blocks the low kick.
Segal scores with a sloppy right hand. Pokey should have avoided that one.
Segal slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pokey avoids a punch combination nicely.

A cross from Pokey lands.
Segal is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pokey slips a jab and a cross from Segal.
Segal tries to bum rush Pokey with a series of wild strikes but Pokey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pokey wants to counter the offense by Segal and move into the clinch position.
Pokey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Segal tries to move into range but Pokey moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looked like Segal wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Segal takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pokey looks to throw the jab but Segal is out of range.

Pokey throws a hook to the side of Segal's head but Segal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pokey lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Pokey is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Segal had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pokey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Segal's head backwards.

Oh Segal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Segal is breathing heavily.
Segal is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Pokey doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Segal crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Segal's bad books for that mishap!
