PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rutan Ilram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Custo Lombardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombardo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Ripper kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Custo Lombardo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilram throws a body punch but Lombardo moves out of range.

Lombardo feints a jab promting Ilram to slip. Lombardo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ilram slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ilram tries to throw a body punch but Lombardo avoids it by throwing Ilram back against the cage.
Lombardo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ilram is defending well for now.

After the fight, Rutan Ilram was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
