Velasquez comes to the cage accompanied by El Camino . Winslow has chosen KJ-52 - Let's go as his entrance music. Shane Winslow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fabricio Velasquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shane Winslow!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Velasquez misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Velasquez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A swing and a miss from Velasquez.
Winslow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Velasquez avoids it really well and circles away.

Winslow has Velasquez up against the cage in a clinch.
Winslow is trying to drag Velasquez to the mat but Velasquez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Velasquez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winslow cracks Velasquez's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Velasquez slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Winslow can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Winslow!
An intense looking Shane Winslow took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'And once again I show that I have improved, in every aspect of the game, whoever you are, don't give up on anything, I am the proof that if you want it bad enough, you get it! '.
Fabricio Velasquez spoke after the fight, saying 'My camp trained hard, but the better fighter won on the day. I won't let it keep me down. I'll be back, training, at the first chance I get.'.
