Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chadwick Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Kulafu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercado throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kulafu was covering up waiting for the punch and Mercado finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mercado postures up in Kulafu's guard and throws a big left but Kulafu blocks it.

Kulafu has his foot on Mercado's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mercado works his way back into a safe position though.

Mercado has gone for a leg lock! Kulafu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mercado's guard.

Kulafu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kulafu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mercado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kulafu is in Mercado's guard.

I really don't envy Kulafu right now.

Kid Kulafu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kulafu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
