The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fjera drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We've been hearing that Fjera has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Amaral scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Fjera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Fjera working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Amaral just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fjera's brow.

Amaral throws a punch but it's blocked by Fjera.

Fjera breaks from the clinch.
Amaral walks straight into a right hand from Fjera - that's dropped him! Fjera jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Amaral from any more punishment! Amaral complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nick Fjera!

Our winner, Nick Fjera, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Rafael Amaral spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back!!!!'.
