Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mantis Toboggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Warror!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warror lands a right hook to the body.

Toboggan rushes Warror and presses him up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Toboggan misses with a body punch.
Warror blocks a body shot from Toboggan.
Toboggan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Warror throws a punch but it's blocked by Toboggan.
Warror lands with a right to the head.
Warror lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Toboggan.
Toboggan misses with some punches.
Toboggan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Warror's elbow.

Warror breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toboggan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Warror.
Toboggan drops his hands momentarily and Warror takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Warror changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Warror slips a jab from Toboggan.
A nice side step and Warror releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Toboggan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Toboggan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Warror.
Toboggan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Paul Warror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toboggan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toboggan lands with an uppercut that bounces Warror off the cage and back into range.
Toboggan misses with an uppercut
and Warror connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Toboggan gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Toboggan tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Warror is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Toboggan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Toboggan!! Toboggan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Warror throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Warror!
A very excited looking Paul Warror made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
