Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sachz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castillo comes to the cage accompanied by Holy Key. Anthony Castillo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Castillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Sachz!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sachz avoids the body shot from Castillo.
A left lands for Castillo.


It looks like Harry Sachz has been cut.
We've been informed that Sachz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Castillo cracks Sachz with a good jab.
Sachz closes the distance and clinches up with Castillo, looking for a takedown. Sachz pushes Castillo against the cage but Castillo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sachz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Castillo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sachz. That did some damage!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sachz. Castillo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Castillo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sachz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Castillo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Castillo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sachz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Castillo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sachz ducks right into an uppercut from Castillo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Anthony Castillo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Sachz.

Sachz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Castillo walks away with a smile on his face. Sachz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Castillo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Anthony Castillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sachz tries to score a body lock takedown but Castillo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Sachz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Castillo after a bit of a struggle.

Castillo pushes Sachz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Sachz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Castillo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Castillo digs a right hand into Sachz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Sachz's gas tank.

Sachz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Castillo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Castillo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sachz backwards.
Come on Castillo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Castillo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Castillo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Sachz is rocked!


That has opened up Harry Sachz's cut even more.
Castillo controlling the action here for a moment.
Sachz is still on wobbly legs! Can Castillo finish him?

Castillo dips a shoulder and cracks Sachz with a mighty uppercut! Sachz falls back against the cage and Castillo unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sachz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Castillo screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Castillo!
