The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cummings tries a head kick but it misses.
Andres tries to counter by closing the distance. Andres closes the distance and pushes Cummings back into the cage. Cummings pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Andres clinches up with Cummings and pushes him back against the cage. Andres fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Andres breaks from the clinch.
Andres moves into the clinch. Andres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Andres swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andres moves into the clinch successfully.

Cummings's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cummings throws a nice looking combination but Andres bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lolo Andres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andres gets in close and instigates a clinch. Andres is struggling to control the position. Cummings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cummings breaks from the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Andres is working for takedown but Cummings is calmly controlling the position for now. Cummings manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Andres jumps guard but Cummings stands there with Andres around his waist. Andres gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cummings comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Cummings tries to close the distance and clinch but Andres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A countering left hand to the body from Andres misses. Andres looks to land a combination. Cummings sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Andres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cummings is fending him off so far but Andres persists. Nope, Cummings circles away and we're back to standing. Cummings drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cummings will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Andres controls Cummings momentarily but Cummings frees himself. Cummings drops back looking for a leg! Andres is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andres manages to kick Cummings off! Cummings jumps back into Andres's guard. Cummings throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lolo Andres will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Andres shoots in looking for a takedown but Cummings manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Andres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Aaron Cummings is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cummings shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Andres defends it nicely. Andres shoots in but Cummings avoids the takedown attempt easily. Aaron Cummings is winning the standup battle so far. Cummings throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Despite the aggression on Andres's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Andres explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andres misses with a head kick.

Cummings wants to work for an arm triangle but Andres is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cummings is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Cummings is nestled in close to Andres, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Andres looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Cummings pushes past his half guard into mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cummings cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cummings tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cummings landing strikes from the mount and Andres is in trouble! Cummings working Andres over with strikes here. Cummings is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Andres can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cummings lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Andres is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cummings landing punches. Andres taking shots to the head. Cummings scoring with strikes but Andres is staying in there. Cummings is landing with some decent strikes but Andres is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cummings looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Andres is desperately trying to improve his position but Cummings has a good base and remains in mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andres is in a horrible position here. Cummings smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Cummings lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Cummings landing strikes, looking to finish! Andres tries to hold on but Cummings postures up. Cummings sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Cummings showed his dominance in that final round. I think Andres has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
