Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daing Irfan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julli Kulli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irfan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kulli throws a big right hand that misses.
Kulli drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kulli jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Irfan is trying to control the position but Kulli postures up.
Kulli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Irfan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kulli tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Irfan enables Kulli to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Irfan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Irfan pushes Kulli off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Irfan tries to pull guard but Kulli holds him up against the cage and eventually Irfan drops back down to his feet.

and Irfan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kulli throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Irfan's waist but Irfan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kulli off to one side.

Irfan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kulli eats them both and turns towards Irfan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
