Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Roussow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Kint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Roussow!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roussow throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Kint to counter with a crisp jab.
Kint ducks under a wild hook from Roussow.
Roussow tries to clinch up.
Kint lands a nice shot to the body.
Kint has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kint connects with a body shot.

It looks like Ken Roussow has been cut.

Roussow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kint manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roussow is pressed up against the cage. Kint has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Roussow down to the mat. Roussow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kint connects with an inside leg kick.
Roussow misses with a lunging right hand
and Kint counters with a straight right hand.
Kint fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roussow.
Roussow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kint manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kint changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Roussow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kint.
Ken Roussow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Roussow. Kint does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kint checks a leg kick.
Roussow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kint sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roussow somewhat.
Roussow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kint counters with a nice leg kick.

Roussow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kint counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Roussow!
Kint lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roussow is looking for a sweep.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kint wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roussow keeps working.

Roussow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kint has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kint wants to control but Roussow is keeping him busy.
Kint looks up at the clock and then as Roussow takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kint smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kint slips a nice elbow through Roussow's hands, connecting with Roussow's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kint connects with a nice short shot to Roussow's temple.
Kint looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roussow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Roussow throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Kint manages to pass to side control.

Kint looks up at the clock and then as Roussow takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kint smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kint creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.


Roussow is rocked!
Roussow is looking to regain half guard here but Kint keeps moving and retains side control.
Roussow is still in real trouble! Can Kint finish him?

Roussow is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kint connects with a decent elbow.
Roussow seems to have recovered his senses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roussow is not content to let Kint control the position.
Roussow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kint. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Roussow is looking to reverse the position.
Roussow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Kint stands up and beckons Roussow to his feet.
Kint throws a series of punches but Roussow avoids them all with ease.
Kint fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Roussow misses with a right hand
and Roussow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice shot lands for Kint.
Kint ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kint appears to be looking for a big counter.
Roussow shoots in for a double leg but Kint sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Roussow can't break the clinch.
Kint blocks an uppercut.
Kint is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Roussow can do to turn this around?
Kint misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Roussow.

Kint breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kint gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kint gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Roussow regains guard.
Roussow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kint cracks Roussow with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Kint is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Roussow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Roussow shoots for a takedown but Kint saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kint uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Roussow has time to react.
Kint takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kint throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Roussow throws the left hand but Kint avoids the punch easily.

Kint closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Roussow.

Kint is trying to trip Roussow. He has hold of a leg but Roussow is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kint persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roussow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kint defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kint pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kint has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Roussow's face.

Kint with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Kint! Roussow is hurt baaadly! Kint is firing away with more strikes - Roussow is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
